After noticing all the 2017 College Football schedule posters were all photoshop heavy, I set out to do a full vector schedule poster for my alma mater, Clemson University. I did some research and tutorials by some poster artists whose work I really admire, notably DKNG.
The print is set up as a two color print, purple with orange overprint that would, in turn, create the illusion of a third color. I did this in order to keep in mind that many schools would like to limit the cost of the printing for the university.

After getting great feedback on this first project, I decided to do a post-week one illustration of Kelly Bryant, the current QB, who was not included in the initial poster. He threw an absolutely perfect pass to his receiver in stride and then pointed to his arm. I found this to be an amazing visual and knew right away that I wanted to illustrate it. I decided to keep all elements consistent with the original poster as it would be in a full season campaign.

I loved how these looked with the Clemson orange & purple, so I wanted to try it out with different colors. I decided to go with the navy & red of the Houston Texans and to do an illustration of Deshaun Watson.

Thanks for coming and checking these out! I'm looking forward to doing more and posting them as they are created! Please share if you like what you see!
